We dedicate time and effort to innovate, to think of different answers to temporary and structural problems in any context. We love to rethink processes, identify opportunities, exploit synergies and implement ground-breaking projects to respond to the changing needs we face.
With the support of new technologies, we achieved the continuity of the Cooperantes Caixa project. In addition to ensuring a meaningful experience for participating employees, the programme’s objectives were achieved. The experience was so successful that we have now opted for a mixed modality.
Mobilise your employees
There are many ways to mobilise your employees in different causes, not just volunteering. At Volies we have created different projects that can fit in with your strategy.
With the aim of inspiring employees for change by providing them with real tools, we launched Civic Circle Discussion Series . A project led by Points Of Light for its affiliates globally and, from HandsOn Spain, we have implemented it in collaboration with Volunteer Ireland. To equip employees we created Companies4SDGs, in which we share audiovisual materials addressing the 17 SDGs of the 2030 agenda. From HandsOn Spain, we have an extensive catalogue of activities with the aim of mobilising people. In addition, since 2022, we launch a monthly newsletter offering activities to companies to motivate their employees to mobilise on the most important days of each month.
Involve your customers
An innovative proposal for social mobilisation are volunteering or social action programmes for your customers. At Volies we support you in the design and implementation of the strategy to motivate your users. We help you to analyse their interests to launch activities in the same line of action. From HandsOn Spain, we coordinate imaginChangers.
A commitment to diversity
At Volies we attach great importance to diversity in companies, which is why we support projects that promote it.
At the Business Network for LGBTI Diversity and Inclusion (REDI), we are committed to fostering a respectful environment, promoting the visibility and inclusion of talent, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
We design and coordinate projects under the General Disability Act, in collaboration with different foundations. For example, in 2021 HandsOn Spain, together with the FDI Foundation and Indra, launched the world’s first entrepreneurship launchpad for people with disabilities: Ventures4Inclusion.
We also accompanied the CaixaBank Volunteers’ Association in their Mes de la Diversidad. A space to encourage reflection, dialogue and activation of volunteers and their families, and to contribute to greater inclusion and equality in our society.
We support educational and professional projects with children, young people and adults in vulnerable situations or with a lack of resources through corporate volunteering projects.
Projects such as “Líderes digitales” with the Telefónica Foundation, to promote the good use of technology throughout the educational community; “GetIt” with Amazon, promoting the digital skills of 12 and 13 year old girls, challenging gender stereotypes within the industry and enabling them to consider studying a career in technology.
“Entrenando la empleabilidad” with La Liga profesional de Fútbol, favouring and practising accessibility to the labour market for groups from vulnerable contexts; or ODS al cole, a dynamic and attractive educational proposal with the aim of sharing the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda with schools and thus promoting their social commitment and the participation and active citizenship of students.
Teambuilding with a social bonus
Actions with social impact are an excellent alternative for teams to carry out an activity with a common goal and a focus on improving interpersonal relationships. This social or environmental purpose increases the cohesion and commitment of the participants, allowing team members to deploy new skills, get to know each other in a different context and collaborate with each other outside the already established work roles. In addition, at Volies we provide you with activities designed to reinforce the you want to enhance.
We support the Telefónica Foundation in its solidarity challenges, an initiative that invites volunteers from a work team to organise themselves and work for the benefit of a group, together with a social entity. In collaboration with Endesa, we developed “La fábrica de ilusiones – No child without a toy“. A project focused on assembling and personalising toys made in special employment centres to donate them to children in vulnerable situations and at risk of poverty.
Employee social intrapreneurship
At Volies we get involved in the social entrepreneurship of our employees, inspiring them and accompanying them in the challenges they want to set themselves. It is an opportunity for employees to be able to collaborate with the entities of their choice in different projects with the support of their company, such as Fundación Telefónica and Endesa. Every year they launch a call for entrepreneurship projects for employees.
