On Tuesday, December 13, the General Assembly of Volonteurope, the European network that promotes social justice through active citizenship and volunteering, and which is made up of various social entities of which we are part, was held in Brussels.
The day was completed with the presentation of the results of the Vosotros project, which aims to identify the effects of volunteering on people in vulnerable situations.
This project ran from January 2021 to November 2022 and took place in Poland, Spain, Slovakia, Italy, Portugal, Romania and France.
During this time, the various participating entities visited these countries to learn about the impact of the various programs developed under the project.
To end the session, from Volies we gave a talk on the potential of corporate volunteering as a tool to maximize the impact and reach more people, as well as the importance of measuring volunteering to control the results obtained.
In our speech we had the opportunity to present the results of the recent Guide for the measurement of Corporate Volunteering published by the Voluntare network. And whose KPIs have been very useful for the attending organizations.
It has been very enriching to learn and share our growth with our European counterparts, with the aim of strengthening the ties that unite us and continue moving forward on the path of corporate volunteering.
