Fundación Telefónica, Amadeus, Repsol Fundación, Caixabank, Amazon Web Services and the UN, some of the organizations that have entrusted Volies with their international volunteer strategies.

At Volies we have been working for 10 years to promote social change through the transformation of people and organizations, activating, empowering and accompanying them in this process, in order to build a sustainable world and a more just, inclusive, critical and diverse society.

A purpose that we pursue from our social enterprise without borders or barriers, and for which we have three powerful tools:

Our already extensive international experience that has allowed us to design global volunteering strategies for companies such as Amadeus, UN Volunteers or EDP, as well as to implement projects in more than 25 countries.
A multidisciplinary and multilingual team capable of developing projects in: Spanish, Basque, Catalan, English, Portuguese, German, French and Italian.
We are an active part of the main global networks that promote volunteering, which allows us to know and apply the latest trends.

With all this in mind, Volies accompanies our clients to promote their strategic and innovative corporate volunteering and social participation programs for their stakeholders, and that have a real positive impact on the community in all parts of the world in which they operate.

To properly advise them on this journey, we take into account the specific needs of each organization, the areas of interest, culture, corporate values and previous volunteering activities or programs.

Some of our most successful experiences abroad

AMADEUS

In 2020 we coordinated the international strategy for the company Amadeus, one of the 15 most important software companies for the tourism sector in the world.

One of the characteristics that makes this program special is that it is one of the few companies that leads all the actions from Spain, not only of corporate volunteering, but also of engagement with the community for all the countries in which it operates world widely.

Among the different actions developed from this strategy, the organization of the Volunteer Month and the call for the Social Impact Challenge stand out, in which an important call to global action was made for people working in the company to help identify sustainable tourism projects worldwide.

Some facts about Amadeus:

  • Operating in more than 190 markets
  • More than 19,000 employees
  • 150 different nationalities

ONU Volunteers

Another of the projects we are most satisfied with is the support we provided to UN Volunteers in the design of its Competency Certification Program for 11,000 volunteers in 160 countries. A very innovative initiative that formally recognized the competencies achieved in the field, such as:

  • Teamwork
  • Communication
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Planning and organization
  • Respect for diversity
  • Commitment to continuous learning

Fundación Teléfonica

Fundación Teléfonica is one of the first companies that entrusted Volies with some of its main corporate volunteering actions, such as the Other Countries program, which since 2015 encompasses different actions worldwide for its International Volunteer Day and in which hundreds of volunteers participate.

Since 2017 we also participate in the international coordination of activities in more than 12 countries and since 2019 we manage its corporate volunteering program entirely in Germany through the coordination of its technical office, one of our star services.

Caixabank

Since 2020 we have coordinated Caixabank’s CooperantesCaixa program, in which more than 40 employees participate, offering professional on-site and remote assistance to countries such as Peru, India, Mozambique and Ethiopia, supporting 8 local NGOs: Fundación Entreculturas, Codespa, Cesal, Ayuda en Acción, Alianza por la Solidaridad, Fundación Aga Khan, ActionAid, Instituto de Salud Global de Barcelona (ISGlobal).

Fundación Repsol

Since 2018, we have coordinated the International Volunteer Week in the 23 countries in which Repsol is present, with more than 3,000 volunteers participating each year around the world.

Since 2019, we also collaborate in the design, implementation and coordination of its Professional Corporate Volunteering Program, in which more than 200 professionals from different countries participate in the resolution of more than 60 challenges that have been developed with nearly 50 social entities in Spain, Portugal, Ecuador and Colombia.

Amazon Web Services

One of the latest projects to join this international experience is the company Amazon Web Services. After a first collaboration at the end of 2022 in Aragon, we have begun to collaborate in 2023 with AWS in Frankfurt, Paris, and Zurich within its AWS Incommunities strategy, through which corporate volunteering is framed with the aim of having a positive impact on the communities in which they work.

From this experience and with the knowledge of global trends in international volunteering and social participation that we are constantly nourished by, for example, by actively participating in the last meeting of Points of Light last March in Brazil, we offer the most effective, innovative and adapted responses to each environment and each moment, responding to all the challenges that are put in front of us to advance towards our vision, which is:

To be catalysts for a culture of co-responsibility, where each person and each organization understands the impact of their actions, and is fair and empathetic with the world and with society, through the design and implementation of projects of value, innovative, sustainable, committed and trust-building.
