From Volies, within the framework of the General Law on Disability, we support companies in their efforts to promote the employability of people with disabilities through corporate volunteering.
Ventures4Inclusion is an entrepreneurship launchpad for people with disabilities and organisations that work for their personal and professional development, promoted by Indra together with the FDI Foundation and HandsOn Spain. The aim of the initiative was to promote technology-based projects by people with disabilities or non-profit organisations working for the personal and professional development of these people. Indra’s employee volunteers have been a great support in the three phases of the shuttle, contributing their knowledge and getting involved in the different projects.
It ran from September 2021 to February 2022. 21 social entities and 8 entrepreneurs were presented, mobilising 50 Indra volunteers. The initiative had three phases in which the entrepreneurs and entities participated in different activities led by the volunteers. They all attended training in technology, communication, administration, taxation and law. The 10 finalists had personalised consultancies based on their projects, and the 6 finalists, three entities and three entrepreneurs, participated in an entrepreneurship marathon with two volunteers per project.
Ventures4Inclusion is a project that also aspires to be a benchmark for innovation that promotes the entrepreneurial spirit of this group through the presentation of innovative projects that favour their employability.
