The Valencia Faulconbridge Tennis Cup did not end with the final match. Its match point for the planet is still to be played. For Valencia and its natural richness.
At Volies Comms & Events, we believe that major sporting events have the power to inspire emotions on the court, but also to drive action beyond it.
That is why, together with the Faulconbridge Cup, Fundación Felisa and Xaloc Mar, this year we designed the tournament’s Green Day: a participatory experience aimed at transforming sport into a platform for awareness, community engagement, and real impact within the local territory.
Through workshops, talks, and experiences open to the public, we invited attendees, families, and tennis fans to play the “Match Point for the Planet”: creating seed balls using the Nendo Dango technique, which this autumn will become part of a large reforestation day in Valencia alongside volunteers, tournament players, and Pablo Andújar, the tournament director.
For the second consecutive year, we have worked with the Faulconbridge Cup to connect its purpose with its community, achieving powerful outcomes:
- spectators become agents of change
- the event creates a legacy beyond the competition days
- CSR is experienced, shared, and remembered
At Volies Comms & Events, we help organizations and events design purpose-driven experiences that connect emotion, participation, and real social impact.
Some balls change the game.
And some events have the power to change communities.
