Coinciding with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3) and the International Volunteer Day (December 5), fundación Moeve held its first Volunteer Week.
The results speak for themselves:
- 352 volunteers took part in the activities
- Reaching a total of 414 volunteer participations
- Across 13 activities carried out throughout the week
- In collaboration with Fundación Prodis, Ayúdame 3D and Fundación A LA PAR, all of them focused on disability, inclusion, and equal opportunities.
A very special kick-off that puts a human face to impact
The week kicked off with an event at the Torre Moeve auditorium, where social organisations, volunteers and beneficiaries shared what volunteering, and Moeve’s commitment, truly means to them.
The closing moment was led by Guillermo Gauna-Vivas, Founder and CEO of Ayúdame 3D, who reflected on how the Trésdesis were born and how 90 minutes of volunteering can turn into a hand, an arm… and new opportunities for many people.
Three experiences, one shared idea: when you get involved, something changes
Throughout the week, people from fundación Moeve took part in three different initiatives, all connected by a shared focus: placing inclusion at the center.
With Ayúdame 3D, 228 volunteers joined workshops across 7 centers and 4 locations (Madrid, Tenerife, Huelva, and San Roque), assembling 3D-printed arm and hand prosthetics that the organization will deliver to people with disabilities around the world—proving that in just 90 minutes, you can add real autonomy to someone’s life.
At the same time, in 4 centers in Madrid, 165 volunteers spent the morning with Fundación Prodis, co-designing mini glass-recycling igloos alongside its users. Surrounded by markers, creativity, and spontaneous conversations, the activity promoted environmental care through shared experience.
Finally, with Fundación A LA PAR, 21 volunteers visited the Special Employment Center in Madrid and experienced firsthand how supported employment drives real inclusion, through workshops in printing, carpentry, logistics, and packaging. A direct way to understand that behind every product and every task, there is talent, effort, and a life project.

A step forward on the path of fundación Moeve
At Volies, as the technical office for volunteering at fundación Moeve, we have supported the design and coordination of this Volunteer Week, which solidifies the program as a real driver of internal culture, social commitment, and alliances with third-sector organizations.
And from the Voluntare Network, of which fundación Moeve is a partner, this experience reinforces an idea we see every day: when companies create spaces for their people to get involved, volunteering ceases to be something occasional and becomes a way of understanding the company and its role in society.
