AbbVie’s Week of Possibilities is a global corporate volunteer initiative aimed at supporting diverse communities around the world.
During this special week, AbbVie employees come together to participate in a wide variety of community service activities, ranging from construction and renovation projects to awareness events and educational programs.
The Week of Possibilities reflects AbbVie’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and its goal to contribute positively to the well-being of the communities where it operates. Through this initiative, the company seeks to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, while strengthening the sense of community among its employees and fostering a spirit of collaboration and service.
Volies: partner of the Week of Possibilities in Spain
One more year Volies has collaborated in the activities that have taken place in Spain within this special week. About 300 volunteers from the company have been involved in the refurbishment of a park in El Soto de Madrid, along with people with disabilities ANDE Foundation, a pioneer organization in Spain in the care of people with intellectual disabilities, which offers them the opportunity to enjoy quality leisure, providing the same opportunities as other people.
Abbvie volunteers have accompanied for a day about 100 people with intellectual disabilities users of this foundation, and together have reconditioned this space for social coexistence that will contribute to the welfare of the community.
