Endesa, within the framework of its Corporate Volunteering programme, wanted to design a flagship project “strategic; one that has an impact on the real problems of today’s Spanish society; in line with the company’s business and values. The programme had to add value and be positive and sustainable for both parties, be replicable and make ENDESA and its volunteers feel identified and able to deploy and offer their knowledge and personal and professional skills.

Volies designed “Energy for the future”, a Corporate Volunteering programme with the aim of improving the employability of young people at risk of social exclusion in the energy sector, through better training, aligned with the needs of the labour market and close to the business world. The volunteers shared their technical and cross-cutting knowledge, as well as activities and visits to the plants with the students of vocational training in the energy sector in their area, creating an extraordinary link with the territory.

We also accompanied the company in the implementation of the pilots in Tenerife and As Pontes García Rodríguez, evaluating the project after the first edition, with excellent results, and developing the management tools for the monitoring of the project by its local managers.
