Batallitas Rural has arrived to Palos de la Frontera. What does that mean?

It means a great deal for the older participants featured in the video podcast.

It means a great deal for the town of Palos de la Frontera, as it will preserve this legacy as a treasure of its history, keeping it alive for generations to come.

It means a great deal for Fundación Moeve and its volunteers, because they have not only been operating there for more than 60 years, but are also part of this story.

Batallitas is a social impact video podcast that already has six seasons, and this is the first one recorded outside major cities, creating a powerful combination:

Older adults + rural environment + corporate impact

This project also means a great deal for Volies, because Batallitas is more than a video podcast and more than a volunteering initiative: it is a way of preserving collective memory, strengthening local identity, helping combat unwanted loneliness, and building intergenerational bonds while reinforcing connections between companies and the communities where they operate.

The mayor, Milagros Romero, and Narciso Rojo, head of Fundación Moeve in the town, share this in the video, making it unnecessary to add much more to understand what Batallitas truly represents.

Thanks to Fundación Moeve for supporting this high-impact project, and to Palos de la Frontera for opening its doors and its heart.
