B Corp Month

March marks B Corp Month around the world

During the month of March, B Corp Month is celebrated globally to highlight a growing global movement that has set out to use business as a force for good: B Corp companies.

More than 8,000 companies are leading the way. And Volies is one of them. These certified B Corps companies meet high standards of social and environmental impact, set and verified by B Lab.

In 2024 the B Community has set out to show the world how our impact is growing. Because B Corp certification is not a destination, it is an invitation to join the journey to a better company. And we want as many people to join us as we can. Will you join us?

The future is B

Among the many events scheduled for B Corp month in Spain, there has been a major event: the presentation in the Spanish Congress of Deputies of the citizens’ proposals for business transformation called: El Futuro Es Ser B.

An initiative for democratic innovation and citizen listening promoted by the movimiento B Corp & Demos Lab, which seeks to promote a new business model that improves people’s lives.

These demands, endorsed by more than 45 experts from different sectors, are addressed to public institutions and the business sector. Among them, the approval of the regulation of the Sociedades de Beneficio e Interés Común (Benefit and Common Interest Companies) stands out.

The representatives of the public have insisted in these declarations on balancing and measuring the triple impact: economic, social and environmental, while the companies have stressed above all that a company must become a tool for improving the world and that, for this to become a reality, their messages and demands must be heard and translated into action through the new SBIC regulations.
