A new year is beginning! And it’s time to plan a new corporate volunteering course.
From Volies we want to give you some ideas to help you in the task💡 .
A very common practice among companies is to make some of the annual objectives coincide with International Days.
International Days are dates designated by the General Assembly of the United Nations, or sometimes by other organizations of recognized prestige and experts in the field, which allow to focus attention at times throughout the year on important global issues.
These days not only serve to raise awareness of specific issues, but are also an opportunity to participate in volunteer activities that contribute to each cause. Serving as both awareness and action to mitigate the issue.

But if you haven’t found your key days yet, take a look at the United Nations website, and when you do, here are some ideas of activities you can do on each of those dates.
- Organization of educational events:
Organize talks, workshops and seminars in your community on topics related to the international day in question. This can help raise awareness and encourage greater participation. - Fundraising campaigns:
Participate in or organize events to raise funds for causes associated with the international day. For example, marathons or charity auctions. - Community projects:
Get involved in local projects that align with the goal of the international day. This may include rehabilitation of public spaces, training programs and/or support for vulnerable groups. - Virtual volunteering:
If you are unable to physically participate, consider volunteering your time and skills online. This can be through virtual tutoring, supporting social media awareness campaigns, or assisting in the administration of non-profit organizations.
No matter how big or small your participation is, every effort counts and contributes to positive change in the world!
