When talent development meets social impact, things happen that go beyond expectations. A few days ago, at Volies, we supported Meliá Hotels International in a social team-building experience in Palma de Mallorca.
A day built around three key pillars:
- Team development
- Positive impact on the community
- Social inclusion, with a focus on diversity
Together with people leaders from different countries and individuals with intellectual disabilities from Fundació Alma Mater and Fundació Albada, and with the support of Fundación FDI, something was created that is difficult to design on paper: a real space for connection, learning, and collaboration.
The result was much more than an activity: an afternoon of games, connection, and shared learning.
But how do you really measure the impact of an experience like this?
By listening to those who live it. These are some of the reflections participants shared at the end of the activity:
