At Volies, we understand that moving forward in sustainability means listening.
That is why, throughout 2025, we conducted our first materiality survey, a key process to identify the social, environmental and governance issues that have the greatest impact on our activities while also being most relevant to the people and organizations we work with.
The consultation involved 61 participants, including clients, our internal team, partner organizations, suppliers and company leadership. This allowed us to incorporate a broad range of perspectives on how our commitment as a company should evolve.
What the results tell us
The results show a clear alignment between our internal and external perspectives on the priority areas for Volies:
1. Commitment to society and communities
The dimension most highly valued by our stakeholders was our ability to generate positive impact in society through:
local development
collaboration with NGOs
social impact innovation
stakeholder dialogue
2. People and internal culture
The second major priority is related to team well-being and the quality of employment, with particular emphasis on:
equality, diversity and non-discrimination
work-life balance
health and well-being
talent attraction and development
3. Quality and trust
Volies’ leadership also identifies the following among the most relevant issues:
customer experience
service quality
corporate ethics
regulatory compliance
These results reinforce a belief that has been part of our model since the beginning:
Social impact is only sustainable when it is built on people, trust and consistency.
A clearer roadmap
The survey also helps us identify areas where we need to continue making progress, particularly in environmental matters, in order to integrate sustainability more deeply across all areas of our activity.
This analysis therefore becomes a tool to:
guide our ESG strategy
strengthen our decision-making
respond to the expectations of our stakeholders
continue improving as an impact-driven company
Listening to improve
For Volies, materiality is not just a reporting requirement. It is a way of ensuring that our growth remains aligned with what truly matters to the people and organizations that are part of our ecosystem.
We will continue to incorporate this active listening into the way we work, because we believe that organizations capable of generating lasting positive impact are those that can evolve alongside their community.
