At Volies, we believe that genuine collaboration is born when people, organizations, and communities come together around a shared purpose. That’s why we’re proud to collaborate with Amazon to support their Community Engagement program—an initiative aimed at creating a positive impact wherever Amazon employees live and work.
Along this journey, our role has been to build meaningful collaborations with social organizations, exploring synergies between community needs and what volunteers can offer. It’s about building real bridges, where Amazon employees can contribute their enthusiasm, knowledge, and human commitment. Because when people wholeheartedly engage in a program with strategy and vision, change becomes authentic and sustainable.

The Global Month of Volunteering
In this context, May is a particularly special month. Amazon celebrates its Global Month of Volunteering, and this year it’s been both a challenge—and a resounding success!—to be part of projects in Germany, Spain, Italy, England, Ireland, Switzerland, Sweden, and, for the first time, South Korea.
From Volies, we coordinated and supported almost 50 volunteering events, together with over 40 collaborators, social organizations, and local institutions -such as schools and community centers-. Around 500 Amazon employees actively participated, leaving a positive mark through initiatives ranging from improving community spaces to workshops with young people and environmental actions.

And we didn’t just help make it happen—we also captured those moments through Volies Comms&Events, building a narrative that highlights the ongoing work of the social organizations we collaborate with. Images that inspire, connect, and above all, motivate more people to get involved.

How Do We Support This Impact at Volies?
The impact we celebrate wouldn’t be possible without the dedicated and careful work of the Volies team. Our role is to support every step of the way: from identifying social organizations that share Amazon’s values and objectives to understanding their needs, planning, coordinating, and communicating volunteering events. Of course, with a very important pillar: the volunteer ambassadors from each city who manage to motivate their peers and are fundamental pieces.
In this sense, we also helped create bridges between the different actors in the program: volunteers, ambassadors, social organizations, and Amazon Community Engagement leads. Because we believe that impact is greater when people work in networks, with a shared vision and structured coordination.
Our entire team is proud to be an active part of a program that puts heart at the center of its strategy. We continue to support Amazon and its volunteer network with enthusiasm, professionalism, and commitment; firm in our belief that change begins when we listen to the community and choose to act together.
