Thanks to the alliance between Volies LATAM and Fundación Bolívar Davivienda

we have started the second edition of our Training Programme for the management of Corporate Volunteering programmes.

In this second edition, 14 Business Foundations and Social Organisations of reference in Latin America with different social, cultural and environmental purposes have participated.

The training is based on an initial diagnosis of the internal capacities of the organisations to manage the design, development and support of volunteer programmes. This is a very useful diagnosis that allows organisations to gain self-knowledge in order to establish the starting point and successfully tackle the subsequent action plan. As well as orienting the training programme itself.

Overall, three main factors have been identified in this diagnosis in which management and knowledge gaps are most evident.

  1. Training
  2. Relations
  3. Measurement

These three aspects will mark the different workshops and follow-up learning tasks of each live virtual session to develop and strengthen the skills and knowledge of the different leaders of these organisations.

Thanks to the support of Fundación Bolivar Davivienda to this project, in the near future these 14 social organisations will have the necessary management capacity to create and implement corporate volunteering opportunities with companies from different economic sectors that can develop their volunteering exercise in search of the promotion and positioning of these initiatives within the companies.

A unique opportunity, thanks to the support of the Bolivar Davivienda Foundation, for social entities to generate, through corporate volunteering, greater resources that translate into sustainability for the execution and projection of their mission.
