The Mahou San Miguel Foundation has launched the third edition of “En Buena Compañía,” a corporate volunteer program focused on combating loneliness through social support and the building of connections in various regions of Spain.

The call for proposals, open until April 24, is aimed at social organizations that wish to promote projects focused on inclusion, social and employment support, or community participation. These initiatives will be carried out throughout 2026 and early 2027, with the direct involvement of the company’s employee volunteers.

The program addresses a growing social challenge: unwanted loneliness, which affects a significant portion of the population and requires structured responses based on collaboration between companies and social organizations. In this context, “En Buena Compañía” establishes itself as a model for connecting real social needs with the mobilization capacity of corporate volunteering.

In its latest edition, the initiative mobilized nearly 1,000 volunteers, generating more than 4,000 hours of social action and reaching thousands of people in different provinces, which reinforces the role of companies as active agents in building more cohesive communities.
