During its recent Volunteering Week, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) brought together more than 650 employees across Spain, driving social and environmental action through more than 65 initiatives in collaboration with over 45 local organizations. A week filled with meaningful contributions that sparked a unique kind of magic and a lasting impact.

Diversidad de iniciativas para transformar

CCEP volunteers engaged in a wide variety of activities, from cleaning and restoring aquatic environments through Mares Circulares, in locations such as the Pisuerga River (Valladolid) or the Guadalquivir (Seville), to building bird nest boxes with SEO BirdLife to promote biodiversity and provide shelter for birds.

They also took part in inclusive leisure workshops with organizations such as Fundación Síndrome de Down, Fundación A La Par, Envera, Cruz Roja, Bobath, Aspace, No Somos Invisibles, Fundación Superacció among others.

With Fundación Integra, volunteers participated in employability initiatives where they delivered training sessions aimed at boosting access to the labor market.

They also joined activities such as accompanying the elderly alongside Grandes Amigos or Savia Residencias, repainting a school playground affected by the Dana in Valencia, and distributing food and clothing to vulnerable individuals with the “Night Brigade” in Seville, an initiative that goes beyond the Volunteering Week and continues throughout the entire year.

Voluntariado con propósito: “La Magia de Coca-Cola” desde 1953

All these initiatives are part of CCEP’s corporate volunteering program, The Magic of Coca-Cola,” which allows employees to dedicate two paid working days per year to social initiatives. This program is aligned with the company’s global sustainability strategy, This is Forward, reinforcing CCEP’s long-term commitment to the communities where it operates.

CCEP does not act alone: the success of this week has been made possible thanks to the collaboration of local associations, foundations, and NGOs that opened their doors and worked hand in hand with the volunteers.

At Volies, we proudly support the work of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners as their Technical Office since 2020, providing coordination for all of the company’s corporate volunteering initiatives. For the second edition of Volunteer Week, we worked hand in hand with the local ambassadors (program coordinators in each city) to reveal the Magic of Coca-Cola across all delegations.

This meaningful initiative reflects CCEP’s year-round commitment to social and environmental causes and its dedication to promoting impactful volunteering. Thank you for trusting our team once again to continue generating positive change through corporate volunteering.
