During the COVID-19 emergency, together with Fundación Bolívar Davivienda, we implemented a knowledge transfer project for the implementation of our project “Letters to Grandparents” inspired by “Letters against Loneliness”.

This project has collaborated with 23 organisations oriented towards the well-being of the elderly in 21 cities in Colombia, Costa Rica and Panama with 1,407 volunteers supporting 1,023 beneficiaries.

Fundación Bolivar Davivienda’s corporate volunteering team has extensive knowledge of local social entities and, to this end, meetings were held with the Volies team to explain the project implementation procedure and provide them with the management tools used and model documents. In this way, the volunteers were able to accompany and bring messages of optimism and hope to older adults in Colombia.
