Communication Strategy
Mission
Volies is the volunteer partner of the social action and sustainability area of Amazon Web Services in Europe. In addition to helping them strategically design and implement their volunteer actions, we also help them communicate them and give visibility to their mission: “to be good neighbors where they operate and where their employees work and live”.How did we do it?
The challenge was to create a unique and unified identity for all the countries where we work (Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, England, Italy, Ireland and Sweden) to connect and mobilize volunteers and to transmit the positive impact externally, generating trust and credibility in the regions. To this end, we created an internal communication cycle to convene, thank and give visibility to the impact of volunteers, contributing to the success of the volunteer program. With a strategic approach, aligned with its pillars, and at the same time humble, transparent and above all human, we build our own narratives through videos and other content that also serve as quality material for NGOs to disseminate in their own networks and tell their own mission through collaboration with AWS.Outcome
Thanks to this communication strategy, we have managed to reinforce the culture of volunteering among employees and generate a link with social entities, increasing the positive feeling in the communities where they operate.Thanks to Volies, we have been able to document the real impact of our volunteers and create an
engaged community that shares our vision. The care and dedication with which they take care of every
detail is fundamental, both when it comes to organizing activities by putting the beneficiaries at the center, as well as when it comes to telling the story of our social initiatives and giving a voice to the protagonists within the community. For us, they have become a fundamental ally in maximizing our social impact.
